3-Tier Affiliate Program: How It Works

With affiliate programs like Clickbank’s, etc. the level is only 1.

That means: You promote a site, make sales and get commissions.

Some marketers offer a 2-tier program. That means:

  • You promote a product/service.
  • Customers become your sub-affiliates.
  • You get paid commissions on 2 levels: for the sales generated by you and also for the sales generated by your sub-affiliates.

HappyMarketing.com offers a 3-tier affiliate program.

That means 1 more level and THAT makes the difference indeed, because:

On level 1 you get commissions from your sales.

On Level 2 (as described above) you get commissions from the sales of your referrals.

AND

On Level 3, you get commissions for the sales generated by the referrals of your referrals.

With an 1-tier affiliate program you may make (say) 100 sales and if the commission was 50% for a product that sells for $67, then you’d get 100x$67=$6,700 * 50% = $3,350. ONLY.

With a 2-tier affiliate program using the same numbers as above and assuming that only the 50% of your referrals (aka. 50) can generate 1 sale each, and with a 10% commission on level 2, you ALSO get an EXTRA 50×67=$3,350 * 10% = $335 WITHOUT doing anything at all.

With a 3-tier affiliate program using the same numbers as above you get an extra $335 WITHOUT doing anything at all.

The example is a simple one so to see the excellence of a 3-tier affiliate program over 1-tier and 2-tier.

If instead of 1 customer each referral sent 10 customers, numbers change DRAMATICALLY…

Level 1: Your sales = 100x$67×50%=$3,350

Level 2:

50 (the 50% of your referrals)
x10(sales each)
x$67
x10%
= $3,350 <= without doing anything

AND

x250 (the 50% of the referrals of your referrals)
x10(sales each)
x$67
x10%
= $16,750 <= without doing anything extra.

That’s how it works.

In the following example you can see the hypothetical earnings of an affiliate of Level 2.

The 2 Step Formula To Making BADASS Affiliate Commissions Now!

If anyone wants to succeed online, he has to make some decent sales and commissions as early as possible. Most marketers give up because the time taken from the day they first started to their first paycheck is just too freakin’ long! How could anyone possibly succeed easily in such a scenario?

Fortunately, if you observe closely enough, getting results fast and early in your Internet marketing business is POSSIBLE and highly achievable. And we’re not talking about get-rich-quick schemes here. I would never ask you to join such programs; they are a complete waste of time. With that said, it’s important that you do not confuse get-rich-quick with what I’m about to share. They are totally different.

What I'm about to share with you is consumer psychology that when used will get you lots of sales.

Here’s my 2 Step Formula to Making BADASS Affiliate Commissions FAST!

Step 1: Identify the potential customer that is most likely to buy. The truth is not all visitors to your website are equal.

Certain types of visitors are more likely to buy while some are just so skeptical that they would "research" or procrastinate till the point... nothing ever happened.

Good effective marketing is often about targeting those types of visitors that are most likely to be buyers.

This allows super affiliates to get conversions as high as 10% and even 20%. It isn't rocket science, if you think about it. It's simply focusing your efforts on customers who are most likely to hand you that BIG, FAT affiliate commission check. So how do we target? This
brings us to the next step...

Step 2: Push the HOT buttons of that potential customer

Once you have a vivid picture of who you're SELLING to... you can then craft a specialized or polarized marketing message to them. This is where you push their hot buttons!

What does he/she need to hear from you to feel good about buying?

Does he/she have any personal concerns/biases against the product?

What are his/her reasons for looking for that specific product?

With some simple yet powerful research techniques, you can easily find answers to the above questions and subtly insert them into your sales message and see your sales explode! (guaranteed!)

This entire process is known as pre-selling and it's what SUPER AFFILIATES do all the time!

This is where Presell Secrets X system comes in. This brand new, revolutionary system will show you the exact steps necessary to do steps 1 and 2 easily!

The Presell Secrets X system comes in 3 manuals, each detailing vital key information that will put you on the path to becoming a super affiliate!

Step-by-step videos are provided as well that will hold you by your hands to crafting a pre-sell messages that sells.

The package includes Master Presell Templates that you can immediately use so that you don't spend any unnecessary time on designing any HTML templates.

Why You Should Cloak Your Affiliate Links

Cloaking links in any Internet Marketing activity is important, especially in email marketing because:

1)    In the Internet Marketing game, there are plenty of affiliate link hijackers who will simply substitute your affiliate ID with their own in the link, and earn a commission on their own purchase.

By using a decent link cloaking system there is no visible affiliate link for link hijackers to manipulate to their own advantage.

2)    Uncloaked links leave you vulnerable to spam complaints and the chance of losing your affiliate account. Uncloaked links in an email have a direct link to the website you are selling the product for, and if a subscriber lodges a spam complaint with their ISP, the ISP could get the website shut down. To counter this, many website owners do not allow affiliates to use their affiliate link directly in email promotions.

Any link cloaking system will have your own website domain in the link which helps to protect the product owner (for whom you are selling the product on commission) from spam complaints.

3)    Cloaking links can assist in building brand awareness for you or your website. One of the easiest ways to do this is to upload all the webpages which cloak your affiliate links into a folder on your website named “Recommends”  or “Go” - the link you use in your emails will look something like this:

http://www.Your-Website.com/Recommends/This-Product.html

4)    Using a link cloaking system you can quickly change the destination page to send your subscribers. Often a product you are selling as an affiliate is withdrawn, or the website is closed. If you have used a direct link to the website or product in the email you sent your subscribers, you will be sending your subscribers to something which doesn't exist, and you will lose credibility.

However, if you have used a link cloaking system, all you have to do is change the link in the webpage on your site (or the service) which does the cloaking and you can send your subscribers to an alternate webpage.

5)    A decent link cloaking system will provide you with click tracking records. If you participate in any form of email marketing this is important- As an Internet Marketer you need to know how many subscribers respond to the emails you send so you can fine tune your marketing.

There are an infinite number of variables you could test, and you would do this by using a system known as split tracking. For example, you might want to learn which type of email subject results in the highest click rate. To test this you would create two emails with identical content, but with different subjects and send one email to half your list and the other email to the rest of your list. By using a different cloaked link in each email you would soon learn which subject line resulted in the highest click rate.

How to Cloak Your Affiliate Links

There are a number of methods you can use to cloak affiliate links, some you have to pay for and some which are free. Here are a couple of simple free methods available to you:

1)    If you just want a simple link cloaker which does not have any built in form of tracking and doesn't require you to install any scripts on your website, you could use FireURL.com

Full instructions are given on the link cloaking page and this system works for any affiliate link, including Clickbank links. One advantage of this system is your affiliate link is never visible which makes it a little more secure against link hijackers.

While this system does not have any inbuilt form of tracking, you can still track hits to the page through your hosting webstats.

2)    If you want a simple link cloaker with built-in tracking you could install the free script called Power Link Generator available from GetMySoftwareFree.com. To run the script you need to be able to run PHP scripts on your website and have access to a MySQL database.

Installation instructions are given in the mail you receive with the script and on the install page you run once you have created the database.

While this system works with any affiliate link, the one disadvantage is your full affiliate URL will be visible in the browser search bar which leaves your affiliate link vulnerable to link hijackers.

Both of the cloaking systems mentioned above can be used for email marketing and for cloaking links on your webpages. You can also use the cloaking systems if you are involved with article marketing because you can include cloaked links in the author bio included at the bottom of each article you submit.

Promote Your Business with Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a powerful internet marketing strategy. Plenty of online business owners use affiliate marketing to grow million dollar empires. They have a small army of affiliates actively promoting their products and services on a daily basis. The secret is that offline small business owners can do the same thing.

When done correctly, affiliate marketing can take your business to the next level. Imagine how great it would be to have people promoting your products and services. This would expand your reach far beyond what you could accomplish alone. Your affiliates are paid when you earn money, so they’ll certainly be motivated to spread the word.

Affiliate marketing, in a nutshell, is when internet marketers promote your products or services. They might have a link to your website on their website. They could promote your product or service to their email list. Or they could use any number of advertising methods.

You’re probably wondering what the affiliate gets out of the deal. It’s simple. You pay them a commission when they send a client or customer your way.

There is little risk involved with starting your own affiliate marketing program. The worse that could happen is you get no one to sign-up. But if you offer affiliates a nice enough commission, you’ll surely get some takers. It also wouldn’t hurt to provide website banners, articles, and emails that affiliates can use for promotion.

There are plenty of online affiliate marketing networks you can join. HotJV.com and Turbo Affiliates are two well known networks. Clickbank is popular for digital products. You can use a software to run your affiliate program for your business on autopilot. You may also use Turbo JVManager which is now the most affordable solution.

If all of this sounds confusing, there’s no need to worry. An internet marketing consultant can help you learn the ropes. Just let the consultant know you’re interested in affiliate marketing, and they’ll walk you through the process.

Make Money Online With Affiliate Marketing

Despite many industries laying off thousands of workers or even outright shutting their doors in today's tough economic climate, there is one industry that is thriving and helping thousands of regular people make money. Some hard workers are even replacing the income they earned at their regular jobs, allowing them to walk away from the 9-5 work day for good and work from home on a full-time basis.

What is this industry? Affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing programs are simple by nature: They work by rewarding marketers for promoting products online. The affiliates are then compensated on a commission basis. Basically, affiliates get paid each time they refer new customers to the website of the company they are promoting.

Becoming an affiliate is one of the most lucrative online money-making opportunities out there, and the breadth of products that can be promoted as an affiliate is staggering. Affiliate marketing creates a cost-effective option for big and small companies alike to reach out and expose their products to a much larger audience of potential buyers. Instead of being limited to just one large webiste, companies of any size can now offer an affiliate program and have their products promoted on hundreds or even thousands of individual sites, at no upfront cost to them.

Likewise, the affiliate marketing industry also provides a virtually unlimited source for income for those who aggressively promote offers. Affiliates have been continually reaping the rewards of larger profits as the affiliate marketing industry continues to grow in popularity. Affiliates can easily earn anywhere from 30-90% of the profits from each sale that comes from customers they refer, and with some affiliate programs offering recurring monthly payouts for their products, the earning potential becomes even higher.

CPA marketing, in which affiliates can earn money just for referring traffic and having visitors do as little as fill out a short form, without even making a purchase, is the latest hot trend in affiliate marketing, and promises to keep the industry highly profitable and exciting for many years to come.

Unlike other businesses, there are no specific criteria for becoming an affiliate, other than a commitment to work hard and some knowledge of Internet marketing and how to go about researching and promoting the best offers for maximum profitability.

Affiliate Marketing And Market Research

Now that many people’s finances are getting even tighter due to the recession, the idea of making money online is getting even more attractive, and one of the first things many people hear about is something called “affiliate marketing.” While there is a enough information out there to overwhelm most people at first, the basic concept is fairly simple.

Market research is the first step in the process.

First, you must research markets you are interested in. This is your most important starting point, and you can do this by finding out what your potential customers are looking for. This is the essence of “keyword research” – finding the actual words or phrases people type into search engines to find answers to their problems, and you can be sure that if you do not do your research, you will regret it later.

By finding and using keywords that consumers are actively entering into the search engines, you will be able to help your websites and landing pages rank higher, generating a nonstop flood of organic, targeted traffic.

Keyword research doesn't have to be a difficult task, however. Start with the free Google Keyword Tool, which can be found by searching for “Google keyword tool external,” and enter in a keyword or phrase that identifies the product or niche that you are interested in promoting as an affiliate.

Click on “get keyword ideas” to generate a list of keywords and gauge the competitiveness of the the market by taking a look at the number of times people are searching for your main keywords per month.

What you want to do is find a market with existing demand that also has existing competition and products readily available, but not so competitive that ranking highly is next to impossible.

What's important here is that you remember there must be an audience for whatever you choose to market. Since you are an affiliate, your costs for entering a market are not very high, but it’s still a good idea to take the time to do niche research in order to avoid wasting your time.

For more information on market research and keyword research in affiliate marketing, particularly as it applies to CPA, check out this newly-released course.

How To Become A Super Affiliate

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to make money. Finding a niche market with products and services you trust and believe in is the first step to success. There are tremendous affiliate programs which offer you an abundance of tools and materials to promote and market their products. However, what you do with those tools and materials is entirely up to you. You can be just another affiliate or a super affiliate.

What Is A Super Affiliate?

Technically speaking, a super affiliate is someone who generates a significant amount of profits for the products or services they represent. A super affiliate can make a healthy living from their affiliate business alone while a standard every day affiliate may need to supplement their affiliate income with, gasp... a 9-5 job!

Benefits To Being A Super Affiliate

The most significant benefit to being a super affiliate is the income. Many super affiliates make six figures simply promoting the products and services of others.

Additionally, if you're one of the main contributors to a company's affiliate program they're going to pay attention to you and your needs. You may receive a higher percentage of sales, you may receive first shot with new marketing materials and programs and you'll get the support you need when you need it.

Here Are A Few Steps To Become A Super Affiliate:

Step One - Commit to publishing content every single day. Content has proven time and again to be the best sales tool available to affiliate marketers. Nothing, not even strategically placed ad copy works as well as providing quality content that pre-sells any product that you're promoting on your website.

Possible content includes:
* Autoresponders
* E-newsletters
* Blogs posts
* Social networking via forums, social networking sites, and chat rooms
* Articles
* Press releases

Step Two - Track and test. Make sure you know where your prospects are coming from, what motivates them to click through and what information they read and respond to... then give them what they need. Tracking and testing is the only way to hone your affiliate program into a smooth running, money making machine.

Step Three - Use the provided marketing materials and be willing to take it a step further. Many affiliate programs do a great job of providing their affiliate with ready marketing materials including:

1. Banner ads
2. Buttons
3. Email copy
4. Articles
5. Free promotional reports.

Use the materials your affiliate manager has provided. It's been tested and developed for results. That being said, be sure to create your own content too. Even as an affiliate you are your own company and your website needs to reflect your personality and brand. Building a community around your website and providing valuable content is a sure way to create a following that trusts you and your credibility -- which will result in clickthroughs and affiliate sales.

Step Four - Pre-sell. The good news is that your job as an affiliate is to pre-sell products and services. Pre-selling means your content, whether it is a review, article, tutorial, course, or blog post, speaks honestly about the products and services you promote. Pre-selling is about providing value to your website visitors and prospects, making them comfortable with you and your authority to generate interest and a click through to the company website, where the selling happens.

Step Five - Follow up. Just like your affiliate manager follows up with you to see how you're doing and what you need, follow up with your prospects. A great way to do this unobtrusively is to create a lead list by providing a newsletter visitors can subscribe, a free report, or any number of products in exchange for an email address and the permission to contact them with valuable information and special promotions.

Being a Super Affiliate is the only way to go if you want to build a successful affiliate marketing business. Find products and services you trust and believe in and then create a strategy to share information to your target audience. Test and track your efforts, focus on providing value to your prospects and leave the selling to the companies you represent. Helping others live better lives, without having to provide the products or services personally, is a great way to make a living.

Pictures, videos and other information are uploaded so your loved ones are current with what is going on with you.

Here we are going to talk about business blogs. This is a blog that you begin to attract traffic in order to sell products or services. To be interesting to others, your blog will need to:

* Have updated content for visitors
* Be marketed to draw traffic
* Register with search engines so it can be found in the rankings.

How to Start

If you are new to blogging, use a free blogging platform to get your feet wet. Sites like Blogger.com, WordPress.org, Blogspot.com and others offer free blogs to users. Before you start posting, decide what will be the theme, or niche of your blog. A jack-of-all-trades type of blog doesn't do as well as one that is geared towards a certain niche. Ebooks are short downloadable electronic books that you can create yourself and sell on your website. They can be on a variety of subjects but in order for them to sell, you must be able to offer new information to your customers.
